Stop Being Added to Random Groups If you select the Scheduled option, the auto-night mode will kick in at a pre-defined time which you can change. If you select the Automatic mode, the auto-night mode will start depending on the ambient light. You can slide the slider to select at what percentage of the ambient lighting do you want the night mode to start at. Personally, I prefer the scheduling option, however, you can use the one you like. Perhaps the most important and the best feature of the Telegram app is its security. It is based on the MTProto protocol that is built upon time-tested algorithms. It enables high-speed, reliable message delivery on weak connections.
To get started, open the Telegram app. Next, go to Settings and choose Appearance. Next up, tap Sound and then choose your custom notification sound located under the Telegram Tones section. Make sure to tap Done at the top right to finish. Interestingly, Telegram names your custom notification sound as Cloud Tone and also allows you to upload any audio as a notification sound for a chat. Slow Mode Customize Theme and Message Corners
What can this bot do? Voice messages can be converted to text for those times you don't want to listen, but want to see what it says. You can rate transcriptions to help improve them. Reminder on messaging apps has been one of the most sought-after features and finally, you can use it on Telegram. Recently, WhatsApp partnered with Any.do to bring Reminders, however, Telegram has implemented this feature natively. Though there is one lingering issue. You can only set reminders in the βSaved Messagesβ section. Type out the task and tap and hold the βsendβ button. Here, choose βset a reminderβ and pick your date and time. Telegram will send a reminder notification just like Google Calendar or other task management apps. While the feature is good, we would have loved it more had it been available for user chats too. Improvements for Everyone
βPrivacyβ itself isnβt a particularly attractive product feature in online services. It can be nebulous: We canβt always feel or understand it, and sometimes itβs only when privacy is taken away that we take it seriously. Telegram may be among the most popular messaging services in the world, yet there are still many who donβt know what itβs all about. The app is often name-dropped in discussions regarding online privacy and security, but arenβt all messaging apps secure? Donβt more popular apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger (despite their ties to Facebook) also have the fabled βend-to-endβ encryption? What makes Telegram so special?
